Help Your Local Hoarder

Its time for me to pack up my life and move to Boston again..aka time to face what a hoarder I am, followed by hours spent cursing myself across multiple social platforms.

This time around I’ve decided to take a minimalist approach and try to pack only ONE bag/ suit case of clothes for the next 4 months. THATS RIGHT.

Shoes and handbags are separate. Its not cheating because I’m making up the rules right now.

No, I’m not crazy, whats crazy is the bag I’m about to pack. This simple contraption is a gigantic rectangular coated nylon bag that is both incredible in size (rough estimate approximately 3.5 ft wide, 3 ft long, 3.5 ft tall) and function. It doesn’t have any pockets but it does have a zipper which makes it infinitely more advanced than a garbage bag and doubles and an enormous pillow or impromptu seating for guests when full. Would probably also make a very tall but acceptable dog futon.

My mom brought 2 of these back for me from a trip to HK and I’m actually convinced this is the type of bag the mafia uses to dump bodies with on TVB shows, except mine have been cleverly redesigned in a stylish blue camouflage print.

Just to put things in perspective I usually use both giant bags, a large bag that’s about half the size, a full sized suitcase, a travel suitcase a duffle bag…and a large tupperwear for shoes and a garbage bag full of handbags.

So what should I bring? What do I really, really need? Every square inch counts!
